چکیده
Methods Three hundred forty-one self-referred asymptomatic subjects were enrolled in this study. CMRA image quality and factors affecting image quality were evaluated using a 1.5-T scanner with a 32-channel cardiac coil. Coronary artery stenosis, regional wall motion abnormalities, myocardial perfusion abnormalities, and delayed myocardial enhancement were analyzed. The occurrence of new chest pain and cardiac events was assessed with review of medical records and by telephone interviews in 332 subjects (97.3%) during the 29 ± 6 months (range, 18 to 39 months) follow-up period.

Relationship between Late Gadolinium Enhancement Extent in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Severity of Coronary Artery Disease in Old Myocardial Infarction
Purpose: To assess the relationship between the severity of coronary arteries involvement and the extent and pattern of myocardial scars in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance of patients with history of remote myocardial infarction. Materials and Methods: The Cardiac Magnetic Resonance images of sixty patients with history of remote ST segment or non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction were ...
متن کاملMyocardial ischemia evaluation with dual-source computed tomography: comparison with magnetic resonance imaging.
INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES Computed tomography does not accurately determine which coronary lesions lead to myocardial ischemia and consequently further tests are required to evaluate ischemia induction. The aim of this study was to compare diagnostic accuracy between dual-energy computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging in the assessment of myocardial perfusion and viability in patie...
متن کاملIntegral role of cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging in the diagnostic workup of suspected takotsubo cardiomyopathy: Avoiding misdiagnosis.
Takotsubo cardiomyopathy (TC), or stress cardiomyopathy, is an increasingly recognized acute but reversible myopathic process affecting the ventricle. Although specific criteria have been published to diagnose this entity, traditionally, coronary angiography has been used to exclude coronary artery disease in this condition. We present a case initially suspected to be TC based on clinical and a...
متن کاملDynamic 3-dimensional stress cardiac magnetic resonance perfusion imaging: detection of coronary artery disease and volumetry of myocardial hypoenhancement before and after coronary stenting.
OBJECTIVES The aim of this study was to establish a new, dynamic 3-dimensional cardiac magnetic resonance (3D-CMR) perfusion scan technique exploiting data correlation in k-space and time with sensitivity-encoding and to determine its value for the detection of coronary artery disease (CAD) and volumetry of myocardial hypoenhancement (VOLUME(hypo)) before and after percutaneous coronary stentin...
متن کاملCombined magnetic resonance coronary artery imaging, myocardial perfusion and late gadolinium enhancement in patients with suspected coronary artery disease
BACKGROUND Cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging offers methods for the detection of ischemia and myocardial infarction as well as visualization of the coronary arteries (MRCA). However, a direct comparison of adenosine perfusion (PERF), late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) and MRCA or the results of their combination has not been performed. Aim of the study was to evaluate the feasibili...
